First assessment - Within a short time you will get a first well-founded impression of the situation from a project management point of view.
The review is mainly conducted with the project manager and, if necessary, with other stakeholders from the project management area.
The basis is an electronic questionnaire with 34 points divided into 9 project management areas. The Project Review can also be used as a basis for the Project Assessment and the Project Audit to select specific areas.
The assessment is based on a checklist with 56 points divided into 5 areas from management to technology.
It is conducted with the entire project team, representatives of all parties and management.
It starts with role-specific questions in a computer-based tool, while documentation and artifacts are evaluated at the same time.
Based on this first phase, interviews with selected project members and the final analysis take place. The result of the project review is a detailed report with possible corrective actions as a basis for a remediation plan.
The implementation of the remediation plan can be supported or lead by ayxano.
An upstream project review allows scaling and focusing on selected areas.
The audit takes into account all areas and is based on a checklist with 189 points divided into 17 areas.
It is conducted with the entire project team, representatives of all parties and management.
It starts with interviews with selected team members, while at the same time evaluating documentation and artifacts.
Based on this first phase, interviews with further members and the final analysis take place again.
The result of the project review is a detailed report with possible corrective actions as a basis for a remediation plan.

Based on the evaluation results, a remediation plan is created. This prioritizes the areas whose improvement will have the greatest impact on the project.
Progress in the implementation of the measures and the results achieved with them are evaluated through repeated reviews/audits. Necessary adjustments to the measures and prioritization are enabled by a task force typical agile approach.
The execution of the remediation plan can of course be done internally, but we recommend at least the support of a project pilot. In our experience, remediation is inherently difficult when implemented internally, and successes fall far short of expectations.
